GRAY is a four-piece band that turns-out a refreshing interpretation of Soul and R&B while pulling on the wide-sweeping historical and cultural influences of Jazz and Hip-Hop. GRAY is currently becoming a more collaborative and expansive project working with artists such as Karimah and K-Riz under the multi-production collective The HonorRoll.
Although one might consider something grey as nondescript, dull and insipid, the overarching vibe of GRAY completely severs these associations through emanating a smooth, soul-encompassing inundation of flavour. GRAY desires to capture the beautiful lull of ambiguity and share an intimately euphoric pulse with an effort to make available everyone’s rightful freedom to transcend trivial expectation. The group is presently writing and playing a number of shows in an effort to complete an anticipated EP.
