The Sandinistas were a surf pop band from Edmonton Alberta. Known for their high energy shows and sing-along melodies, the band quickly developed a cult following.
The band featured Micah Nickerson (guitar, vocals), Clayton Liebe (guitars, backing vocals), Nick Carter (bass, songwriting), Daniel Placeres-lee (bass, backing vocals) and Atticus Brent (drums, vocals).
Their sole EP “Greetings From The Sandinistas!” was recorded at Sonoluminescient Sound and is available as a digital download and commemorative postcard (only 500 in existence!)
