For the first time ever, Guerrilla Radio is going on tour. Two of our favourite artists, Thompson Highway and Poppa Squats are out on the road and we are going to meet up with them to broadcast their shows, chat about life on the road and experience a little highway life.
The first features Thompson Highway Live from Blind Beggar Pub in Calgary which takes place Friday, May 3rd starting at 9pm.
The second show features local producer Poppa Squats and Chimpa Chowie live from the Athabasca Hotel in downtown Jasper which takes place on Sunday, May 5th. Mad Hatter Art & Music Festival is putting on a show in Jasper and Guerrilla Radio will be there to broadcast it. Poppa Squats will be performing along side local Jasper producer Child Size Medium.
The goal is to make it somewhat of an interactive tour for their fans back home, we will be blogging the stories, posting some pictures, and interviewing the bands before their shows.
